Russian MMA star Alexander Pisarev passed away after eating a poisoned watermelon. There are worries that the couple’s consumption of watermelon led to food sickness.
According to reports, Pisarev, his wife, and his father shared a flat in Balashikha, a neighborhood in Moscow.
In a statement, the Tomahawk Sports Club stated: “My brother, my friend, my student! Words cannot express the extent of the loss. Alexander Pisarev is the standard of friendship, decency, and courage of a Russian person. We and I will miss you! Rest in peace, our brother.”
“His trainer Magomed Kamilov told us, he got sick after eating (watermelon),” Twitter account @RussieInfos added.
Several media outlets suggest that Pisarev passed away after eating a watermelon along with his wife, who is understood to have been hospitalized, although they also ate other products.
Igor Vladimirovich, the fighter’s father, returned to his apartment after walking the family’s dog to find that he was no longer breathing.
