Alasdair William Pollock (born 1993) is an English cricketer, who played first-class cricket for Cambridge MCCU. A right-arm medium-pacer, Pollock scored 44 not out on his first-class debut, against Essex County Cricket Club, at number 9 in the order, out of a total of just 99. Pollock studied at Robinson College, Cambridge where he obtained a BA in geography. He captained the Cambridge blues cricket team to T20 and four day glory, but was not as successful in the one day format. His career did not reach the heights that was prophesied and has subsequently embarked upon a career in Corporate Tax, where he is doing rather well. He has been supported by his family throughout his sporting career, despite his awful chat and questionable dress sense. His mother still does his dry cleaning.
Pollock’s diet consists mainly of fish fingers and his favourite colour is orange.

Cricketing Career

The key highlight in his career is the dismissal of Alastair Cook (current England captain), twice, in a match vs. Essex 2014. Some might say that this will probably be the highlight in an otherwise unremarkable life.

Whilst playing for Teddington CC in the 2015/16 season, Pollock was in and out of the First XI. He cemented his place towards the back end of the season and subsequently featured in the final game of the team’s title winning campaign. He nearly added to his collection of quasi-fame-inducing achievements by snicking off Mark Ramprakash, only for him to be dropped in the slips.

Rodney King’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Rodney King was an American who became famous after an LAPD police brutality case who had a net worth of $250 thousand. Rodney King has earned his net worth from his lawsuit against the Los Angeles Police Department. King was born on April 2, 1965 in Sacramento, California. King was convicted and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment for the robbery he committed in November 1989. King robbed a store in Monterey Park, California in which he used an iron bar to threaten and hit the store owner. King is divorced and has three children, it was confirmed on September 9, 2010 that he has plans to marry Cynthia Kelley, who was a juror in the civil suit he brought against the City of Los Angeles. The police beating of King occurred on March 3, 1991, the whole incident was video-taped by George Holliday who was an innocent bystander. The video shows how officers repeatedly hit king with their batons. Other LAPD officers who were present just stood around and watched and no one stepped in to help stop this brutal beating. Later the four officers were tried in a state court, three of them were acquitted and no verdict was reached for the four one. The results of this trail are what caused the 1992 Los Angeles riots. During a federal trial for civil rights violations two of the four LAPD officers were found guilty and sent to prison, however the other two were acquitted of all charges. As a result of the civil rights trail King was awarded a $3.8 million dollar settlement, he used some of the funds to start his own Hip-Hop music label titled Straight Alta-Pazz Recording Company. Like his father, King is an alcoholic and has attended rehab several times as well as appearing on the second season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and he also appeared on Sober House, which is a Celebrity Rehab spin-off.
