Murder: Alabama, Adam Simjee Shot To Death
Adam Simjee was killed by a would-be robber pretending to be a stranded motorist.
He was traveling with his girlfriend to the Talladega National Forest near the famous Cheaha State Park in east Alabama on Sunday when they met a woman who pretended to be having a problem with her car.
The couple helped the woman for more than 30 minutes, and when they couldn’t fix the car, the woman tried to rob them. She produced a gun and told them to put up their hands and give them the keys to their cell phones.
When the woman was distracted for a moment, Adam took out his own gun, and that’s when the woman shot him back several times. Despite CPR attempts by his girlfriend Mikayla, Adam succumbed to the gunshot wounds 20 minutes later.

Authorities used a dog tracking system and a state police helicopter to find a camp in the woods half a mile away from the crime scene where they saw Krystal Diane Pinkins, 36.
As officials arrested Pinkins, her five-year-old son ran from the woods with a loaded shotgun. No shots were fired while arresting the 36-year-old.
