Collaborating with Bill Lindner Photography (BLP), they produce amazing outdoor photography to advertising agencies, catalog houses, and magazine publishers. Lindner Media has also distributed video footage from their immense movie library for the ‘Modern Marvels’ on the History Channel.

Al with his 10-years senior brother Ron started a career in fishing tackle after moving their families to Wisconsin & then to Brainerd, MN in 1966. Prior to that, he severed a year in the Army in Vietnam from 1965-1966. Once both brothers became a professional fisherman & fishing guides, the Lindners’ tried their hand at television in 1970.

With Al on-air and Ron filming, directing & scripting the show, the duos filmed their first episode focusing on how to find & catch the fish on Big Sand Lake near Park Rapids, MN. Around this time, Al spent days onboard either fishing in a bass, filming TV shows or walleye tournament on a local lake honing his craft.

Over the next thirteen years, the Lindners’ brother created & marketed various fishing lures like the No-Snagg fishing sinker, the Lindy Rig, & the Rapala VMC product line for walleye fishing. With some products selling in millions, they launched a company called ‘Lindy Tackle’, authored numerous articles/books, conducted fished tournaments and did radio shows.

In 1979, the brother launched a parent company called ‘In-Fisherman’ for the sports fishing magazine & television shows & nationally syndicated radio shows under the same name.

Al Lindner is a family man with a beloved wife and a child. Al and Mary Lindner have an amazing relationship that blossomed long back and has gone from strength to strength since then. The couple together has a grown-up son named Troy Lindner.
