Akira Takarada is an actor who was best known for his roles in the Godzilla trilogy. Before his death, Takarada had been experiencing increasing lower back pain for some time. In the previous few years, he had likewise been in and out of the hospital.
He died at the age of 87 on March 14, the actor, died. Godzilla announced his obituary on their official Twitter page:
