Cornerback A.J. Bouye received congratulations from the Jaguars on the birth of his daughter, Rhyan.
Bouye missed practice on Wednesday after giving birth, but he is anticipated to return on Thursday in time for Jacksonville’s home game against the New York Jets on Sunday.
I’m happy for A.J. Bouye. Rhyan Elizabeth, a baby girl, was born to them, Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone announced to the public on Wednesday. He’ll fly in tonight and return for practice the next day.
Josh Lambo, the kicker, was also honored by Marrone for being voted the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this year.
The Jaguars’ defense assisted in the team’s 27-17 road victory over the Cincinnati Bengals before Bouye’s daughter’s birth.
