In February 2023, Scott Alexander of AGT, a magician who appeared in Season 6 of the program, went away, according to a post his wife made on Instagram.
AGT Magician Scott Alexander’s Obituary
Scott was one of the most enduring AGT contestants from season 6. His birth year was the 1970s. During his audition, he made his wife Jenny, who was also his assistant, appear out of thin air and then levitate using water.
Because the judges, Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel, were so impressed with Scott’s audition, he moved on to the next round.
As part of Scott’s deception, the gospel choir appeared before disappearing, which ultimately resulted in Scott’s elimination in the quarterfinals. Jazz singer Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. took first place that year.
Scott made an appearance on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, the magic competition series that the two hosts started following American Idol.
Viewers may recall Scott Alexander as the illusionist who dazzled then-Judges Howie Mandel, Piers Morgan, and Sharon Osbourne with a trick that caused a woman to emerge out of thin air, be supported by water, and then levitate.
After AGT, he continued to work in front of the camera, performing and acting in Season 2 of Penn & Teller: Fool Us.
And Scott Alexander, may you rest in peace. Your talent was exceptional and extraordinary, and it will always be remembered.
