The After Happily Ever After series on BET follows ex-spouses after a divorce or separation to help their former partners move on and find love once more.
The unscripted program, hosted by Bow Wow, will encourage ex-spouses who have gone through a divorce or separation to act as a matchmaker for their former partners to help them move on and find new love.
Seven former spouses from long-term partnerships that ended in divorce or separation appear in “After Happily Ever After.” To assist their ex-partners in finding new love and a cause to move on, the exes will act as matchmakers for those individuals.
BET: Meet After Happily Ever After Cast
1. PETER GUNZ (Dater/Ex), AMINA BUDDAFLY (Ex), TARA WALLACE (Dater)
American rapper Peter Gunz became well-known after releasing the album “Make it Reign” with “Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz.” Tara Wallace and Peter Gunz allegedly dated from 2000 till 2013. They even had two kids together but never gave their relationship a legal name.
Peter married Amina Buddafly in 2013 when he split up with his longtime girlfriend, Tara Wallace. Does ending a ten-year relationship seem to be this simple? No. Because Peter maintained his relationship—which we should refer to as an extramarital affair—with his lover Tara Wallace even after he wed Amina.
Amina was unaware that her former husband, Peter, had been having an affair with Tara Wallace. He never made it clear how he felt for Tara. At the time, the couple was even the parents of a girl.
Amina eventually divorced Gunz, her cheating spouse, in 2018. Their messy love triangle and divorce incident were widely reported in the media. In several interviews, Amina, Peter’s ex-wife, emphasized her disappointment and the folly of believing Peter.
2. PAM TAYLOR (Dater) & TROY TAYLOR (Ex)
Boyz II Men’s debut album, “CooleyHighHarmony,” included two of his songs, and as they say, the rest is history. Although Taylor has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, his relationship with Trey Songz has been a fruitful and long-lasting artistic partnership.
Pam and Troy Taylor met through church, and Bet Press claims they were high school sweethearts. She is a nurse practitioner. Troy and Pam live in Covington, Georgia, and they have four children.
3. AMARACHI ODINMA (Dater) & UGO MADUKA (Ex)
Amarachi is a multi-platform journalist, host, actress, and model currently residing in Los Angeles. She is a host with true stage magic who is bold, witty, and extremely charismatic with spot-on comedic timing. After arriving in Los Angeles with just two suitcases in the fall of 2013, Amarachi got to work.
Amarachi, who has no plans to slow down, is currently a co-host of the televised radio program “Rhythmlatenight,” which airs live on Silverbird TV, the African equivalent of Dish Nation, from Monday through Friday.
Ugo Maduka, a well-known motivational speaker, author, TV actor, and fashion line owner, traveled from Nigeria to the United States to meet Amarachi after witnessing her perform live on television. They had two children together and were married for four years.
4. JUSTIN VORISE (Dater) & NANI RIVERO (Ex)
Entertainment has always been Nani Rivero’s dream career. She was raised in a large Puerto Rican/Dominican household with a strong passion for dance and music. Despite her modest upbringing, Nani has always had lofty ambitions to become a powerful woman.

5. JEREMY MEEKS (Dater) & MELISSA MEEKS (Ex)
Jeremy Meeks is an American fashion model who used to be a part of the Crips street gang. Meeks was apprehended in 2014 in Stockton, California, as part of Operation Ceasefire, a gang sweep, and authorities then put his mugshot on Facebook.
Meeks and Melissa Meeks, with whom he was wed from 2008 until 2018, had a child. The entire time Jeremy was imprisoned, Melissa was by his side.
Meeks and Chloe Green, the daughter of British tycoon Philip Green, were also said to be dating in June 2017. Meeks had traveled to Turkey, where the first pictures of him and Green on a yacht surfaced.
Green gave birth to the couple’s son on May 29, 2018. The couple reportedly split peacefully and were selling their shared London house in August 2019.
6. NICOLE WARD (Dater) & “MIKE MIKE” PHILLIPS (Ex)
Nicole Ward is the owner of a successful trucking and logistics business in Atlanta, Georgia. When Is The Release Date of After Happily Ever After?
On October 19, 2022, at 10 pm ET/PT, After Happily Ever After airs for the first time on BET.
With Bunim/Murray Productions (MTV’s The Real World and The Challenge, OWN’s Family or Fiancé), Julie Pizzi and Erica Ross are the executive producers of “After Happily Ever After,” and Andrea Richter is the showrunner. BET’s executive producers are Angela Aguilera and Tiffany Lea Williams.
About After Happily Ever After
The show is intended for both men and women searching for their second-act love story while also considering that they are frequently still connected to their ex-partners due to their shared past, children, and extended relatives.
Bow Wow will host a Singles Party with a new group of potential dates for the daters on each episode of the eight-part reality series “After Happily Ever After.”
Only the ex-spouses attend these events so that they may decide which potential dates would be most appropriate for their ex. One of the candidates will be invited by the Exes to relocate into the home for 48 hours so they can date their ex.
At the end of the two days, the dater will decide whether to keep the prospect or return them to the singles pool and pursue another opportunity to meet someone fresh.
