The consequential loss or ‘loss of profits’ policy generally takes over from where the fire policy leaves off. Fire policy indemnifies the insured fully against material damage incurred, not considering that as a result of the fire, it may take a while before the business is fully operational.
Consequential loss covers the “increase in cost of working” which includes a reduction in gross profit and any expenses incurred with the Company’s’ approval in adopting emergency and temporary measures to continue with the insured’s business e.g. renting temporary accommodation, hiring second-hand equipment etc in order to diminish the loss
Burglary Insurance
The policy covers loss resulting from forcible entry or exit into or out of the insured’s building/premises.
Professional Indemnity
By virtue of their qualifications, persons in the professions carry a high degree of responsibility in law to their clients. They have to measure to standards required by their professions.
The insured is indemnified against his legal liability for loss from any claim made against him arising out of an error omission or negligence on his part or on the part of his employees in the conduct of his profession which is committed during the period that the policy is in force.
Contractors All Risks
By virtue of their qualifications, persons in the professions carry a high degree of responsibility in law to their clients. They have to measure to standards required by their professions.
The insured is indemnified against his legal liability for loss from any claim made against him arising out of an error omission or negligence on his part or on the part of his employees in the conduct of his profession which is committed during the period that the policy is in force.
Public Liability
Under Common Law, liability is imposed on any firm or individual carrying on business or trade or cohabitation to do so in such a manner that injury to members of the general Public or damage to their property is not caused. Compensation for injury or damage is not automatic and the plaintiff must bring his claim under tort or breach of contract.
The standard public liability policy is concerned with legal liability to third parties only and not moral liability. It also protects the insured against vicarious liability for the acts of employee or contractors.
Product Liability
The Insurance covers loss or damage to property, death or bodily injury to third parties as a result of defective products, directly or indirectly.
Goods In Transit
This policy covers holders against loss or damage to goods while being transported from one place to another subject to the jurisdiction clause. The goods may be carried in the insured’s vehicles or vehicle hired by the insured.

Fidelity Guarantee
Fidelity implies the faithful or loyal performance of a duty, and Fidelity Guarantee policy is Insurance against the results of dishonesty or disloyalty. This type of cover may be effected by any organization or person who may suffer as a result of dishonesty, failure in loyal performance of a duty by those employees who are entrusted with cash or stocks that are readily convertible to cash.
Work Injury Benefits Act

It also covers loss of information suffered by external media used in computing facilities (software) and additional expenses for computer operation which arise if the insured’s computer breaks down and arrangement of hired computing facilities become necessary (Increased cost of working)
Plate Glass
Cover granted is against accidental breakage, destruction or damage to all fixed glass which includes windows, door glazing, fun lights, show cases, fixed mirrored glass and glazed partitions.

Marine Insurance

Motor
The policy covers the insured against financial losses that he may incur in the event that his motor vehicle is involved in an accident.
