Rifkin rose to fame for writing and producing family-friendly comedies such as Mouse Hunt and Underdog (2007). He even went on to write knucklehead for WWE Studios with Big Show as the main star. Adam also wrote Underdogs for Walt Disney Animation Studios, Zoom and many more. His other film The Drak Backward was named as one of the top ten films of its year by The New York Post.
From there, he became the director responsible for New Line Cinema’s Detroit Rock City. Adam directed his first movie professionally i 1989.
