Born in Los Angeles, California on March 18, 1979, Adam Levine and his junior-high buddies, Jesse Carmichael as guitarist and Mickey Madden as bassist, started playing music. The threesome is performing their first gig at a school dance together. After welcoming new member Ryan Dusick to the drummer spot, back in 1994 they became the alternative rock band Kara’s Flowers. Their first album “The Fourth World” released three years later, when the band also performed on a segment of the “Beverly Hills 90210” television drama. The band disintegrated after the flop of the record.
With the goal of studying music at Five Towns Schools, Levine and Carmichael then left Los Angeles for Long Island, New York. The couple became introduced to a larger artistic impact after staying there, and later chose to drop out after just one semester. They reunited with Dusick and Madden, moving to their native, and welcomed new guitarist James Valentine to the formation with Carmichael being shifted as keyboardist. Therefore, the band Maroon 5 was formally formed.
Acting as a frontman, after being influenced by his broken relationship with Jane, Levine started writing some songs. And then, the debut album of the band was called “Songs About Jane” (2002). Three international hit singles, namely “This Love”, “Sunday Morning” and “She Will Be Loved” were successfully produced. Levine was immediately launched as one of the Hollywood sex icons and women’s men in the music videos for the songs of the band. He dated a series of models; Anne Vyalitsyna from 2010 to 2012, the Secret Beauty of Victoria, and Behati Prinsloo, whom he later married on July 19, 2014.
