She was was a systems bank analyst, musician, dancer, and aspiring actress. On May 19, 2006, she was found by her mother, Linda Ducsay, at the bottom of the stairwell to her basement apartment at their family home on Boothbay Street, Milford.
According to the source, she’d been beaten to death. The actress reportedly passed away at the age of 26 due to hemorrhage caused by numerous blunt force trauma wounds on her head.

Upon the arrival of the local police, Actress Alexandra Ducsay was found dead in her apartment.
It was reported that she was stabbed with one of her dance trophies which were first reported as missing. The blade of the latter was recovered from near her bloody frame.
As soon as investigations began, they suspected her ex-boyfriend, Matthew M. Pugh. Despite their seven-year age gap, they were in a relationship that Alexander ended when he was sentenced to 6 years behind bars for drug-related charges. It was reported that he began threatening the actress following their breakup.
The case initially went cold after he provided an alibi stating that he and Alexandra were only good friends. However, a significant witness came forward in 2012 to reveal that Matthew had talked about his plan of killing his ex-girlfriend to them because he wanted revenge.
In September, Matthew was arrested and charged with murder and robbery after the black tape on Alexandra’s cheek, along with DNA and phone records, eventually tied Matthew to her killing in the fall of 2012.

Following the murder of the actress, Matthew Pugh stood trial for the counts against him in 2015. The jury heard how he seemed almost obsessed with Alexandra. He was ultimately found guilty and handed a 60-year sentence for murder, plus an added 20 for robbery.
Thus, today, the 43-year-old is imprisoned at the high-security Cheshire Correctional Institution. Further, his release date is in July 2085.
