Actor Warren Christie’s Net Worth, Wife, Children – Biography

Warren Christie is a Canadian actor, who has appeared both on television and in movies, gaining popularity for portraying various roles such as Ray Cataldo in ABC’s “October Road,” as Aidan Stivileto in “Happy Town,” and as Cameron Hicks in Syfy’s “Alphas.”

Early life and family

Hans Warren Christie was born on 4 November, 1975, in Belfast, Northern Island, United Kingdom, but his family moved to London, Ontario, Canada before he turned two.

Education background

He graduated from the University of Windsor, as he was recruited earlier to play college football for their team. It was during his college years when he discovered an interest in acting, but he only pursued it after graduating.

Career

First steps

Warren started his acting career portraying bit roles such as that of a security guard in Fox’s soap opera, “Pasadena,” in 2001. The soap was praised by critics and was viewed by 4.3 million viewers, but only four out of 13 episodes were aired because it was said that the American audience was not ready to watch something with a dark storyline such as this, only two weeks after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

In 2003, he had minor roles in various television series/miniseries, including the “The Twilight Zone,” “The First to Die,” and “Black Slash.”  The first time he played a character that was in five episodes was in the unaired series, “Still Life” (2003), starring Jensen Ackles.

He had recurring small roles in the ABC drama series “The Days” (2004), Showtime’s “The L Word” (2005), and Sci-Fi Channel’s “Battlestar Galactica” (2005).

His first movie appearance was in the horror film, “The Thing Below,” in 2004. He was also part of the romantic comedy, “Gray Matters” (2006); the drama, “Dress to Kill” (2007); and the horror-thriller, “Beneath” (2008).

Further success

After being cast in guest-starring roles in popular television series including The WB’s Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles-starrer “Supernatural” in 2006, and CBS’ Jennifer Love-Hewitt-starrer “Ghost Whisperer” in 2007, he landed the role of Ray “Big Cat” Cataldo, part of the main cast in ABC’s drama series, “October Road,” which first aired on 15 March 2007.

Its pilot episode ranked #9 in viewer ratings, but fell on its second and succeeding episodes with the season finale at #36 with 10.2 million viewers. The series ran for two seasons (2007-2008) with 19 episodes.

He was given lead roles in the Christmas movie “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” (2008), the horror-thriller “Malibu Shark Attack” (2009), and the suspense-thriller, “Ties that Bind” (2010).

Warren was a regular cast member portraying the character of Aidan “Greggy” Stivileto in ABC’s “Happy Town” that premiered on 28 April 2010 to low ratings having only 5.2 million viewers.

It continued to perform poorly until withdrawn after six episodes, and was officially cancelled with the remaining two episodes made available online for those who followed the series.

He starred in the 2011 alternate history/sci-fi movie, “Apollo 18,” as Lunar Module Pilot Captain Benjamin “Ben” Anderson. The story was about the Apollo 18 actually landing on the moon but never returning, and lost footage was found on what happened to the crew., in found-footage style. Although the critics gave mostly negative and unfavorable reviews, it was a financial success, grossing worldwide $25.5 million against the production budget of $5 million.

His next project, “True Justice,” lasted for two seasons (2011-2012), but he was only in season one as part of the main cast. This crime-action-drama series was created and its season one written by Steven Seagal, who also starred in it.

“Alphas”

On 11 July 2011, the sci-fi action-adventure series, “Alphas,” was aired on the SyFy cable channel, with Christie portraying the role of Cameron Hicks as one of the alphas. The story was about five people called alphas with superhuman abilities, part of a team led by the neurologist, Dr. Lee Rosen, played by David Strathairn that investigates crimes they suspect were committed by other alphas.

The series was co-created by Zak Penn, who co‑wrote the story for “The Avengers” and the scripts for “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “X2.” The pilot episode was directed by Jack Bender, who was the director of several episodes of “Alias” (2001), “Lost” (2004-2010), and “Game of Thrones (2016). The critics gave mixed reviews, with some praising it for its ‘ingenuity, character-driven moments, and well-paced storytelling’ while others criticized it for not showing anything new, and giving off a ‘beta version’ vibe to it. “Alphas” ran for two seasons with 24 episodes (2011-2012) with the season finale ending on a cliffhanger, much to the dismay of its loyal fans.

Warren continued being cast for lead roles and recurring roles, such as Sergeant Mark Cross in the medical drama “Motive” (2014-2016); as Will in the comedy-drama, “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce” (2014-2017); as Scott Rice in the action-drama, “Chicago Fire” (2015); and as Jude Silva in the medical drama, “The Resident” (2018).

He was in 2019 NBC’s drama series, “The Village,” which was cancelled after one season; he was part of the main cast and he played the role of a former army ranger, Nick Porter, who lost his leg during his Afghanistan tour. He appeared in a single episode on the horror series, “50 States of Fright” (2020).

Personal life

Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar Braxton signed their first record deal with Arista Records in 1989. In 1990, they released their first single, “Good Life.”  At the time of the single’s release, the members’ age differences created a problem with marketing. Tamar, the youngest, is 10 years younger than Toni, the oldest. Arista Records dropped The Braxtons from the label. In 1991, a producer heard Toni Braxton, singing at a gas station, and he introduced the sisters to super producers and star-makers L.A. Reid and “Babyface” Edmonds. The two producers were in the process of setting up their own record label, LaFace Records. Though the group was not signed, Toni was, and her sisters were hired as backup singers. Tamar and the other sisters released one album in 1996. Then Tamar embarked on a solo career and released her first solo album in the fall of 2000. The album was not successful, and her label, Dreamworks, dropped her. She continued to sing backup on her sister’s albums and to perform with her live. It has been pushed to September 10, 2020. Braxton asked WeTV to let her out of her contract after her boyfriend found her lifeless.Personal Life: Braxton married her first husband, Darrell Allamby, a music producer, in 2001. They met in 2000 and worked on her debut album together. They divorced in 2003.That same year, Tamar started dating record executive Vincent Herbert. The couple met through her older sister Toni Braxton. Tamar and Vincent married in late November 2008. Their son Logan Vincent Herbert was born in 2013. Tamar and Vincent divorced in July 2019.On an episode of “The Real,” Braxton revealed that she suffered from the skin condition vitiligo. On November 10, 2015, Braxton discovered that she had several pulmonary emboli in her lungs. The illness is what forced her to withdraw from “Dancing with the Stars.”As of this writing, Braxton is dating financial advisor David Adefeso. The couple is sheltering at home together with Braxton’s son Logan with ex-husband Vincent Herbert. On July 16, 2020, Adefeso found Tamar passed out and “lifeless” in the downtown Los Angeles condo that she lives in. She took to Instagram to write that the demands on her for her show “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!” were “excessive and unfair,” in a lengthy post. Tamar was hospitalized after the incident.Tamar Braxton Net Worth from Real Estate: In April 2013, Tamar and Vincent spent $10.5 million to buy a large mansion in Calabasas, California. The 15,016 square foot mansion has seven bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms and is located in a gated community called the Mountain View Estates. They attempted to sell the house in 2017 for $15.995 million. The price was reduced to $15 million, then $13.95 million, and eventually for $9.25 million. That represented a $1.25 million loss for Braxton who narrowly avoided foreclosure on the property amid ongoing financial and relationship problems. There had been several public notices of mortgage default on the property. At one point they were at least $250,000 behind on the mortgage. They also reportedly had several cars and other assets repossessed.Tamar and her boyfriend reportedly rent a two-bedroom luxury condo in Beverly Hills, that costs $15,000 per month. The building features an indoor and outdoor pool, five gyms, a spa, a restaurant and a bar offering complimentary drinks.
