Accelerated Burst Madden 24 can be achieved for the ball carrier by pressing R2 on your PlayStation and the RT button on the Xbox console.
Using R2/RT+LS will help you cut sharply through the defense. Likewise, if you hold R2/RT, you can slice through the opponent.
Using the acceleration burst will enable your player to accelerate at a faster rate to reach the maximum speed of the ball carrier. It will cost you some stamina in return.
The overall point of an acceleration burst is to help your player get his peak speed at an accelerating (faster) rate. When you use this ability, your player will run its top speed provided by his rating, but when you press LS to change direction, the ball carrier will lose some speed.
Therefore, the best way to use it is in an open passage where your player can burst through quickly without getting caught and losing speed.
Accelerated Burst Madden Meaning
Accelerated Burst allows your player to run quicker at an incredible speed. It helps you evade the defensive line and get past them before you are caught.
In the latest Madden, the acceleration attribute is crucial for your Wide Receivers and Running Backs to slice through the opposition. You cannot evade the defense only with speed.
The speed rating is only a number if your runner has top speed but poor acceleration attributes. You can’t get past the defense.
If you look at the fastest players in the game, they are the same people with the highest acceleration attribute. For example, Tyreek Hill has a 99 Acceleration Attribute, which sits well with his 99 speed, making him the most elite speedster in the video game.
Some other players trailing behind him are:
- DJ Turner: 98
- Jaylen Waddle: 97
- Jartavius Martin: 97
- Jakorian Bennett: 97
- Deonte Banks: 97
- Cooper Kupp: 96
- Mecole Hardman Jr.: 96
- Lamar Jackson: 96
- Nick Cross: 96
- Calvin Austin III: 96
Min Player Speed Threshold In Madden 24
Madden 24 min player speed threshold is the setting where you can set the game speed for players. You can set the value range from 0 to 100.
It is also known as the Speed Disparity Scale. The default value is set at 50. The most realistic min player speed threshold slider is between 40 and 45.
Anything under or above it will be troublesome.
The lower you keep the minimum player speed threshold slider, the more separation the speedy guys will get. For example, if you set it to 0, your wide receivers will be gone in a second, as it creates a greater difference between the slowest and fastest players.
On the other hand, if you keep it at 95, like many Reddit users or people on various sites say, it will ruin the gameplay. It will narrow down the speed difference to a minimum.
A 320-pound defensive line catching your fastest player like Justin Jefferson from behind and cutting his angles like a knife through the butter makes zero sense.
Madden 24 Speed Ratings
Madden 24 speed ratings are dominated by Tyreek Hill, Jameson Williams, Jaylen Waddle, and Tariq Woolen. Hill has the highest speed of 99.
The top speedsters in the game are Wide Receivers, with seven of the top 10 spots belonging to them. The other three are two Cornerbacks and one Quarterback.
Tariq Woolen and DJ Turner are the CBs.
Likewise, the only QB on the top 10 speed rating is the Baltimore Ravens signal caller and the 2019 NFL Most Valuable Player, Lamar Jackson (96 speed). His 89 overall rating makes him the fourth highest-rated QB in the video game.
Keeping that aside, let’s check the top three players with the highest speed ratings in the game:
Tyreek Hill – 99
The nickname ‘Cheetah’ isn’t just to flex as Tyreek Hill, with 99 speed, is the greatest speedster in Madden 24.
The Miami Dolphins WR is one of the two WRs in the 99 Club, the other being the Minnesota Vikings player Justin Jefferson.
Hill was initially given a 98 OVR, but his excellent week 3 performance raised his awareness to 97 from 95, hence giving an overall boost by one. He is now one of the six players with 99 OVR.
Jameson Williams, Jaylen Waddle, and Tariq Woolen – 98
Williams, Waddle, and Woolen secure the combined second place for the speed rating. All have an excellent 98 speed.
Williams and Waddle are WRs, while Woolen is a CB. Williams plays for the Detroit Lions, Waddle is with the Miami Dolphins, and Woolen is with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Lions WR has 79 OVR, the Dolphins WR has 88 OVR, and the Seahawks CB has 84 OVR.
DJ Turner, Marquise Brown, and Quez Watkins – 97
CB Turner and WRs Brown and Watkins are joint third with 97 speed. Brown has the highest overall rating among the three, i.e., 84.
The Cardinals WR has 94 accuracy, 96 agility, and 90 catching.
Likewise, Turner has 74 overall with 98 accuracy, 92 agility, and 91 jumping.
Meanwhile, Watkins plays for the Eagles and has 73 OVR. He has 95 accuracy, 86 agility, and 84 catching.
How To Make Madden 24 Celebration Run?
You can hold L2 and R2 together and press X on your PlayStation to make a Madden 24 celebration run. Xbox users can hold LT+RT and press A.
If you play the game on PC, you must press Left Shift+Left Control+Space.
The celebration run is the taunt you can perform before you hit a touchdown. It could not be more embarrassing for your opponent to see you celebrate even before scoring, as the rival can’t do anything about it.
But remember that you can be tackled during a celebration run, as the ball is still in play. Therefore, only perform it when the opponent player is too far from your player.
Likewise, you can hold the L2 key on your PlayStation’s joystick and flick the right stick in any direction for individual celebration. If you are an Xbox user, hold LT and flick the right stick in any direction.
