Born on April 14, 1996 in New York, as Abigail Kathleen Breslin, she is the last of three children born to Michael Breslin (father) and Kim Breslin (mother). She was named after Abigail Adams, the second “First Lady” of the United States, and grew to have two nicknames: Abbie, Miss Sunshine.
Interested in acting and singing from a very young age, Abbie did not have the opportunity to be educated before; she was instead homeschooled, getting all the support from her parents and older siblings who are both actors – Ryan and Spencer Breslin.
