Abigail Louise Phillips (born 14 January 1994) is an English actress and singer. She is best known for playing Liberty Savage in Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks and for her debut single “Summer Sunshine”.
Phillip lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband, Marcus Richardson. Phillip and Richardson were married at the Larz Anderson House in May 2018. The couple announced they were expecting their first child in 2021.
Marcus Richardson is a cybersecurity professional and the husband of CNN senior political correspondent and Inside Politics Sunday anchor Abby Phillip. The couple has been together for about a decade and tied the knot in 2018. Richardson and Phillip are based in Washington, D.C.
Phillip and Richardson welcomed their first child together in August 2021. They named the baby girl Naomi Angelina. Philip explained the name in a statement to People: “Her first name means ‘pleasant one’ and she is already living up to it and spoiling her mom and dad as a blissfully calm baby.
Her middle name Angelina is a tribute to my beloved maternal grandmother who passed away in 2014.” Philip added that Naomi arrived “”10 days fashionably late.”
