James Addie and Melanie Addie Family Update – His Daughter

James Addie served as a Lieutenant at the Moberly Correctional Center in Missouri. He met Molly while working somewhere in prison.

After being together for seven years, the two started a relationship and were about to get married in April 2018. However, Molly’s family did not know much about him.

After Molly was found murdered on a rural district street a few days before the planned wedding, authorities looked at James, who was about 51 at the time.

Prosecutors say James drove Molly on a rural road for twenty minutes, where he shot and killed her. On the other hand, the defense argued that the police did not investigate thoroughly enough and that James was only guilty of killing one person and did not kill a person.

James’ lawyer said his marriage to Melanie was exhausting, and he loved Molly.
